Creating Connections Australia respects your right to privacy, understands the need to protect your personal information and complies with legislative requirements relating to privacy.

Collection, use and securing of your personal information

How we will collect your information

Creating Connections Australia will collect your personal information via (not limited to) our website, social media links, email, mail, phone or in person when;

• you register for Staying Connected News or updates
• you make a general enquiry
• you purchase goods or services from us
• we receive a referral for you from a third party
• you submit an application or express interest in joining our staff
• other reasons that relate to the general nature of our services

Information that we may collect from you

Creating Connections Australia may collect the following (but not limited to); your name, postal and email address, age and date of birth, the name and contact details of the organisation you work for, details of other service providers who support you or your family, your family history, details of any funding providers you are accessing to pay for services (and any related plans or documentation), credit card details, and any other information that will be used to assist us in providing you services.

How we will hold and secure your information

Creating Connections Australia takes reasonable care to hold your information that we collect securely and confidentially. We protect your information through the use of; secure website and email servers, locked mail box, secure document storage, and strict confidentiality policies that relate to how our staff use and secure your information.
Your personal information is only accessible to Creating Connections Australia staff who require legitimate access.
Clients or customers of Creating Connections Australia who cease to receive services or supports through Creating Connections Australia, will have their personal information securely destroyed after 7 years.

Why we collect your information

Creating Connections Australia may collect your information in order to answer any enquiries, send you our Staying Connected News or other updates, provide you with products, services and supports, and link you to other supports or services.
What we will use your information for

Creating Connections Australia will only use your information for purposes directly related to the supports, services and products that we provide, such as; answering your enquiries, providing you with products or services, sending you information, or linking you with other services or supports.

Disclosure of your personal information

Your personal information will remain confidential, and will only be used by Creating Connections Australia in the course of business or when communicating with any third party as necessary; to process your purchase, to process your application or referral, to create bookings or arrangements, when required by law, or any other reason where your permission has been obtained and given.
Creating Connections Australia will never share or disclose your personal information without your permission. We will never sell or disclose your information to another person or party for the purposes of marketing.
Updates or changes to this Privacy Policy
Creating Connections Australia may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. We recommend that you check our website regularly to keep up to date with any changes.

Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Payment

Live Events:

For workshop or seminar bookings, payment for attendance is due on booking or receipt of invoice (no statement will be issued).
Payment must be received prior to attendance. If payment has not been received within seven (7) days prior to the commencement of workshop / seminar attendance, the booking may be cancelled at the discretion of Creating Connections Australia.
For bookings made within seven (7) days prior to a workshop or seminar, payment is required by credit card, direct deposit or cash only.

For schools and other organisations – invoices can be provided once purchase order details are supplied. Payment by cheque may be arranged by agreement if cheque can be received at our office ten (10) business days prior to workshop.
Digital Video Presentations, Books and other products:

For purchases of digital video presentations, books or other products, payment is due by credit card at time of purchase.
Hardcopy book or product orders (where products are in stock) will be processed and mailed within 3 business days of Creating Connections Australia receiving payment.

A link to download video presentations or ebooks will become available upon payment.
Pricing offers that relate to sets (or special packaging) of multiple items, as offered by Creating Connections Australia, are final and no variations will be available.

Professionals or organisations requiring certificates of participation must purchase the professional versions of the digital video presentations (within the brackets of numbers of staff viewing the presentations).

Cancellation / Refund

Live Events:

In the case that unforeseen circumstances arise, bookings for workshops or seminars may be postponed, by mutual agreement, to an alternative workshop or seminar (of the same fee) within three (3) months from the date of the original workshop or seminar delivery. Requests to postpone must be received by Creating Connections Australia at least 48 hours prior to the commencement of the workshop or seminar.

For cancellations made outside of 14 days notice prior to the workshop or seminar, an administration fee of 20% of the workshop or seminar fee will be non-refundable. In the case of cancellations WITHIN 14 days prior to a workshop or seminar, an administration fee of 50% of the workshop or seminar fee will be non-refundable.

Refunds will not be available post live events.

Digital Video Presentations, Books and other products:

If for some reason you change your mind about your purchase, or the presentation, book or product wasn’t what you expected, please contact us within 7 days for a refund. A refund of the purchase price will be available less a 20% administration fee.
In the case of request for refund of hardcopy books or products – the books or products must be returned in perfect ‘as new’ condition at the purchaser’s expense. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the returned books or products at Creating Connections Australia office.

Where certificates of participation have been provided with digital video presentations, refunds will not be available.
