- Understanding the theory of Social Skill development.
- Assessing Social Skills—determining the skills to support / develop, and how and when.
- Effectively facilitating a Social Skills Program (from learning a new skill to generalisation).
- How to use the CCA ‘Autism Friendly’ Social Skills model.
- The value and importance of personal choice and supporting ‘self understanding’ for the Social Skills learner.
- Developing a Social Skills Curriculum—how to plan, deliver and evaluate your own program.
- Participants will be expected to complete activities to further develop skills and understanding.
