WHAT TO EXPECT

When you contact us:

When you contact us by phone, one of our friendly staff will answer your call and we’ll be happy to take your enquiry and ask as to how we can help you. Sometimes you might receive our voicemail message when you call. Please know that when you leave a message, we will get back to you as soon as we can.

When you contact us by email, we will respond to you as soon as we can. Sometimes, if you have an enquiry, we might call you on the phone instead of emailing you back (if you’d prefer us not to call, please let us know). This might be because we have some questions to ask (in person) so that we can help you better, or it might be because you need a quick response.

Consultation:

Private consultations (or appointments) are based around your needs. When we first meet with you, we will ask you some questions so that we can find out more about your needs. We will make some suggestions and then work together with you on a plan to best support you.

Booking into our workshops:

When you want to book in to one of our workshops, you can do this through the ‘Register for Upcoming Workshops’ link on our home page, and then follow the links on the Events page to Trybooking. There will be a few steps that you will have to go through to process your booking. If you need help with this, please just call us or email us and we can help!

If your organisation doesn’t have a credit card and needs an invoice to pay for your workshop registration, please call us or email us and let us know. We will need you to provide us with a purchase order number from your organisation and the contact details of the person who is looking after the invoice. Then we can simply book you in and send the invoice directly for payment.

Coming to our workshops:

When you come to one of our workshops, we will ask you to sign in at the registration table. Here, you will check off your name and any other contact information. You will receive a copy of the notes for the workshop session, and you will be invited to take a seat in the workshop room. We will also have a table displaying our current flyers, information and other things that may be of interest to you. You are welcome to browse this table and please feel free to ask us any questions.

Please bring your own pen to the workshop, along with a jacket or jumper that you can take on or off to suit the temperature in the room. Workshop rooms can sometimes become overly warm or cool when you’re not expecting it (particularly during the extremes of outside weather)

Private Workshop Enquiries:

If you contact us about a private workshop for your group, school or organisation, we will be happy to discuss with you what your specific training needs are and provide you with an obligation free quote (that we will prepare and send to you). In our initial conversation with you, we will also ask some questions about the group of people who will be attending the training, the people / clientele that your group supports, and where and when you would ideally like the training to take place. We will then send you your quote (along with a booking form, should you choose to go ahead with booking a workshop) as soon as we possibly can.

Social Connections (Social Skills) Enquiries:

If you contact us to enquire about a social connections program for someone you support, or for yourself, we will ask you some questions about what your specific needs are. We will prompt you with some questions, and it would be helpful for us if you could tell us about the person’s current interests, whether socialising is something that they like to do, and what their age and developmental stage is (please don’t worry too much if you’re not sure of the developmental stage).

We will then ask you about some contact information, and we will get back to you as soon as we can regarding the possibility of joining a group.
